Ebensburg

This project involved the renovation of a 52,000 sq. ft. commercial property into school/daycare with classrooms and a training/conference/banquet facility for teachers and administration for the Berks County Intermediate Unit.

At the heart of this project is the 12,000 sq. ft. auditorium. This large space will be used as a banquet and large meeting hall with seating for up to 1000 people on some occasions, but at most times the moveable partitions will be closed to form eight smaller meeting rooms. When the partitions are open, both the lighting and sound system are designed to function as one, with global control available. When the partitions are closed, each space has local control and is totally independent from the other meeting rooms. A commercial kitchen was also designed adjacent to this space.
