If You Don't Already Know:

  • The LEED® ( Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
  • Certification is based on achieving a series of prerequistes and credits in the catagories of Sustainable Sites, Water Effiiciency, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, Innovation in Design and Regional Priority.
Did You Also Know?:
  • 4 out of 8 LEED prerequisites are the responsibility of the Mechanical and Electrical engineers
  • More than half (between 53% and 59%) of all LEED credits are the responsibility of the Mechanical and Electrical engineers
  • The remaining credits are divided between the architect, the site/civil engineers, the commissioning agent and the contractors.

We provide the energy simulation modeling
and other engineering documentation that gets projects LEED certified.
